This curriculum is aimed at building up innovative procedures and solutions for hazard assessment, vulnerability evaluation and reduction and risk mitigation. All the procedures have to be considered in the framework of single to multi-hazard approach. The risk management includes the impact from natural and anthropic hazards as well as from progressive decreasing availability of natural resources due to their exhaustion or pollution from natural and anthropic phenomena (e.g water resources). The curriculum encompasses a wide range of disciplines, like Geology, Physics, Geophysics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences and Engineering.
